David Thompson

David is an audit partner who works predominantly on Littlejohn's AIM and PLUS listed clients and also some of the firm's larger privately owned and overseas owned entities operating in national and international markets.

David's business knowledge extends to a wide range of commercial and regulated business sectors including manufacturing, service industries, resource exploration, corporate finance, corporate and private broking, and international merchanting.  He acts as both principal and subsidiary auditor to a wide range of clients with overseas trading entities in Europe, the United States and the Far East. 

David has a thorough knowledge of the reporting issues affecting AIM and PLUS quoted companies, including corporate governance, and regulated entities reporting to the Financial Services Authority  He is experienced in reporting requirements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UK GAAP and US GAAP, transitions from UK GAAP to IFRS and convergence from IFRS to US GAAP.

David is also audit partner to a number of corporate pension schemes including final salary, money purchase and small self-administered schemes.
