Philip Alexander

Philip is an experienced financial services partner with extensive experience of the insurance industry where he has particular knowledge of the accounting and regulatory framework within which insurance businesses operate.  

Philip's clients include London Market insurance companies, brokers and other financial intermediaries where he is responsible for delivering both internal and external audit services.  He has also carried out special assignments including due diligence reviews and regulatory investigations on behalf of Lloyd's and the FSA.

Philip has acted as an expert witness, being employed by the Joint Disciplinary Scheme in its review of the audit of Independent Insurance and as expert of quantum for American Reliable where he was responsible for verifying the company's exposure to certain workers' compensation contracts.

Philip joined Littlejohn in 2010 from BDO's financial services group where he was head of insurance audit and regulatory services.  Prior to BDO, Philip was lead partner of RSM Robson Rhodes' insurance and pensions group.
