David Roberts

David leads the firm's financial services division and is an executive member of the firm's management board. David delivers expertise on a wide range of audit, regulatory and consultancy matters to insurance intermediaries, brokers and other intermediaries.

With syndicate experience covering all the main markets within Lloyd's, David is lead partner on a number of non-marine and life syndicates. He has undertakes due diligence work and reports on syndicate/agency related capital transactions under the City Code. David also prepares business models supporting applications for the registration of new syndicates and managing agents, and for the creation of a new insurance company. He has been involved in some of Littlejohn's largest corporate finance projects and regularly advises clients on business structuring and shareholder issues.

David's litigation experience in insurance-related matters includes being a key member of the accounting/auditing expert team for a Big four accountancy firm in respect of losses incurred by an LMX company. David has also undertaken complex investigatory assignments particularly in relation to reinsurance arrangements.

David is a member of ICAEW insurance industry working parties and sits on the financial services faculty board.
