David Thompson

David works predominantly on the firm's larger audit clients, including AIM and PLUS listed entities and privately owned groups, covering a broad range of commerical and regulated business sectors. The marjority of his clients are either groups or members of a group, preparing consolidated and individual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice, depending upon applicable regulations.

With a strong international clinet base, David has travelled extensively in auditing overseas based subsidiary undertakings either directly or through independent component audit firms. David also acts for a number of UK subsidiary undertakings who are owned by and report to overseas parent companies.

David has experience of management buy-outs, due dilligence reviews for business acquisitions, litigation support and pension scheme audits.
