Ted has specialised in taxation since qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1974. In 1977 Ted joined the tax department of a major UK construction and development group and gained experience in the tax issues arising from international construction and development projects. In 1979 he moved to Arthur Andersen, where he worked in both the banking and insurance and the offshore oil and gas groups as a senior tax manager.

In 1989 Ted joined Littlejohn as the partner in charge of the corporate tax department, specialising in particular in international taxation.

In addition to being head of international tax at Littlejohn, Ted is chairman of the international tax faculty of Polaris International, a worldwide association of independent accountancy firms. He is also a member of the Faculty of Taxation of the ICAEW.
