Sarah heads up Littlejohn’s charities unit, having worked with not-for-profit clients since qualification. She specialises in working with UK registered charities, and has wide experience of best practice in auditing and accounting for charities and their trading companies.

Sarah has special interests in the education sector, where she acts for clients in both the state and independent sectors, and charities delivering overseas aid. She has extensive knowledge of the European Commission’s humanitarian aid programmes, carrying out audits of funds on behalf of the EC in the UK and at project sites overseas.

Sarah has spent periods as a trustee of The Children’s Rights Alliance and Doorstep, and is currently a trustee of The Death Penalty Project. She has acted as a governor of a state primary and a sixth form college. She is a member of ACEVO, the Charity Law Association and the Charity Finance Directors’ Group.
