Ian joined Littlejohn in 1987 specifically to establish the IT division, having previously been a director of a commercial systems house with specific responsibility for client support, system design and software development. Ian has managed the division ever since and became the firm’s IT partner in 2002.

Ian is a founder member of the firm’s IT strategy group with over twenty years’ experience helping organisations achieve successful IT utilisation. Within the IT division, Ian manages a team of IT professionals including consultants, developers and Microsoft certified network engineers. The firm’s IT division is both an IT services provider and a commercial systems house specialising in the design and implementation of distribution accounting systems. The division is responsible for the firm’s own IT and provides IT consultancy through MERIT.

Ian is also responsible for the design, development and implementation of Avatar, a distribution accounting system primarily for publishers.
