David is head of the firm’s financial services division and is non-executive chairman of the board of partners. Prior to joining the firm, David worked as a management trainee for Unilever Plc and as a book buyer for W & G Foyle Limited. He joined Littlejohn de Paula, a constituent firm of Littlejohn, as an audit trainee and became a partner in 1990.

David specialises in advising the London insurance market, particularly Lloyd’s, and leads the firm’s initiative in relation to services to insurance brokers and other intermediaries.

David is Littlejohn’s ethics partner and is a member of the firm’s professional standards committee. He has also served as a member of ICAEW insurance industry working parties and technical groups and is regularly quoted in the insurance press.
