Alastair joined Littlejohn as a manager in 2004. He has recently been promoted to partner. A not-for-profit specialist and member of Littlejohn’s charity unit, Alastair advises grant making charities, medical research charities, independent schools, academic and environmental charities, numerous trading subsidiaries of charities and other social enterprises. He also acts for membership organisations and trade associations. Alastair has substantial experience of undertaking grant audits derived from a variety of funders such as the European Commission, central and local Government.

Alastair is a member of the Charity Finance Directors’ Group, Charity Law Association and the ICAEW’s special interest group on the charity and voluntary sector, and a regular contributor to seminars on charity matters.
