Alastair qualified as a chartered accountant with a predecessor firm of Littlejohn in 1966. He became a partner in 1970.

Alastair is a partner in the firm’s business assurance division and advises a range of companies. He has over fifteen years’ experience of litigation support work in accounting matters and has conducted investigations for various regulatory bodies including the DTI and the ICAEW.

He also has extensive experience of the Lloyd’s and general insurance markets, serving on the insurance sub-committee and the professional indemnity insurance panel of the ICAEW.

In May 2010 Alastair retired as a partner, but remains with the firm acting as a consultant.
