Overview
Does your organisation see risk management as a tick box exercise, annually removing the risk register from its place on the Chief Executive's shelf for review, or do you integrate the risk process into your strategic and operational activities? Our experience would suggest in most cases the answer is the former.
Never more so than in a time of recession should risk management be a fundamental element of an organisation's governance arrangements, and while the majority of organisations are able to compile a comprehensive risk register, very few use it effectively.
We drewon our experience of working with membership organisations, charities and a wide range of corporate entities to highlight the key issues you should consider in embedding the risk management process in the ongoing development of your organisation.
